Who Do the Tests Say I Am?

According to the Gallup StrengthsFinder test, my strengths are Achiever, Responsibility, Belief, Activator and Input. My Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is ISTJ. If you know me and are familiar with these tests, this should come as no surprise. Only 1 in 33 million are like me. That should be a relief to some.

I haven't taken the Sleep Number test yet. Have you?

Why This Blog?

This blog is a 3+ year experiment, which started on January 1, 2007. Many of you know that I have embarked on a journey with Fuller Theological Seminary. Given that I complete this journey successfully, I will be presented with a Masters of Arts in Global Leadership degree in the 2010 timeframe.

My guess is that some of you may still be stuck on the word "seminary." Does this mean that I'm going to be a pastor someday? I don't think so (but that's really God's call, not mine). No offense to anyone, but I believe that the Church of Tomorrow is not going to be led by the paid clergy in the church, but rather by everyday people who are living ordinary lives in the workplace, in the community, and in the schools with our families and friends.

I will be discussing everything from Starbucks to movies to books to blogs to videos to whatever else comes up. Anything that could have a spiritual influence or impact on our lives is fair game (which is pretty much everything). If this interests you, please join me in the journey.
